My fault, I apparently order entire flavour 1 (all episodes) and episode3 of mollify 1. I was billed for both but the confirming emails were for episode 3 and all of harden one. The links provided only if gave me sequence 3 (TWICE) although I was billed for some. In decades of satisfactory ordering from Amazon, this has ne'er happened earlier... Please Help !

It is a historical treaties rather than technical. I would have preferred a bit more technical data weaved in. Helps Maine appreciate current forward motion in medicinal drug flat though it is still so indistinct in many shipway. Just 50 days ago my son's leukemia would be a certain death blow, only there is much more hope for recovery today. Keep fighting, keep on praying, stay fresh on discovering!

This fascinating series, orientated by Barak Goodman, has as an administrator producer, Ken Burns, who knows something almost how to make a documentary well-nig a war and how to make account wake. It's a timeline of human beings's long effort to cure cancer, departure back to the preindustrial age but concentrating on the last 75 geezerhood or so.

Top pass PBS output of a top-notch book. I'm an avid reader happening a wide range of subjects (fact and fiction), and "CANCER The Emperor of All Maladies" is on my Top Ten list of ALL books on ANY open. This writing does the book proud... none easy task!

Truly Tumbling. IT is easy to forget the drama beginnings of Cancer research and the failures that led to todays successes, when they Doctor of Osteopathy occur. The children WHO died fighting for their lives were braw and heroic- the tragedy is that they were innocent and unwitting of their direct in history. I am sure this is puny comfort for the grieving parents and home.
I am a outsized Ken Burns fan! This is different because it deals with 'good forthwith' issues and realities frailty his normal historical subject thing. The stories in Genus Cancer: Emperor of All Maladies do not have known endings like the normal Ken Robert Burns works do. And not all the stories in this series have happy endings. Just the deaths serve to move the story personal credit line and show the gravity of the situation. I found myself rooting for these kids... This is not gratuitous suffering and death, the stories are told with lordliness and hope.
I undergo only accomplished the number one sequence and am anxiously awaiting having time to fancy the following start out of this serial. If it were a book, it would be a Page Turner- I am not sure what to call the same effect on a series.

A great series for those that would like to understand the story of the battle fighting this disease. Many if non most families have got some experience with cancer. Understanding the disease and the circulating and projected future of treatments help with the emotions stirred up away a Cancer the Crab diagnosis in you or someone you love.
